Backing our own survey new research published today by the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute charity warns that the cost of living squeeze could lead to a national mental health crisis, without action from the energy sector to reduce the pressure that people are under.
17% of people say they dread opening post from creditors such as banks and energy companies. This is equivalent to 9m people in total if reflected nationally.
