Health Minister Brad Hazzard caught up in rapid antigen test fraud | 7NEWS

Health Minister Brad Hazzard says his name has been fraudulently used to register a positive rapid antigen COVID test result with NSW Health.

He described the incident as ‘juvenile’ and ‘moronic’, saying that people risk $5,000 fines when they misrepresent information to NSW Health.

“I received notification yesterday, and again today, from New South Wales Health that apparently somebody has put my name in there as being a positive rapid antigen test. Can I just say, first of all, it is extremely irresponsible. You are undermining what the public health team is trying to do here to keep the entire community safe. It is juvenile. It is moronic. But, it’s also so disappointing to think that you would actually undermine an incredibly hard-working public health team here in NSW.”
