Health warning for flood zones after Japanese encephalitis virus detected | 7NEWS



Residents across Australia’s flood zones are being warned to protect themselves against mosquito bites after health authorities uncovered an outbreak of Japanese encephalitis virus in several pig farms. The cases mark the first time the virus has been detected in southeastern Australia.
