Queensland has recorded 3118 new cases of COVID-19. There are now 11,697 active cases in Queensland. 126 people are in hospital with COVID but only one patient is in ICU.

The person in ICU is a man in his 50s who is not on a ventilator and is in a stable condition. He has the Delta variant and is fully vaccinated. 2,227 people with COVID are being cared for in their own residence. More that 86 per cent of the eligible population aged over 16 is fully vaccinated.
