Our world has become increasingly complex and interconnected. Societal challenges such as the pandemic show that the system in its current state is prone to error and requires an alternative mode of operation – cross-sector collaboration. Dr. Nina Fechler shared her views on the topic “The future of health depends on our ability to work together” and highlighted SDG 3 – Healthcare. Nina currently works at Charité, one of Europe’s largest university hospitals, where she leads all activities of Charité within the Berlin University Alliance – the strategic partnership of FU Berlin, HU Berlin, TU Berlin and Charité with the aim to overcome institutional and disciplinary boundaries in order to create an integrated research environment. She holds a PhD in Chemistry and has extensive experience in science; in 2021, Nina joined the Executive MBA program of ESMT. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
