7 April 2023 will mark the 75th anniversary of WHO. In 1948, countries of the world came together and founded WHO to promote health, keep the world safe and serve the vulnerable – so everyone, everywhere can attain the highest level of health and wellbeing.
WHO’s 75th anniversary is a moment to unite the world in tackling the health, development and climate challenges of the future. This yearlong campaign will celebrate the public health successes we have achieved together. WHO calls on you to join us in this journey of Health For All with science, solutions and solidarity.
