Update on Pope Francis' Health After He Cancelled His Trip to Florence | EWTN News Nightly

Pope Francis canceled his trip to Florence because of problems with his knee. The meeting took place in his absence over the weekend, and it included an appeal for peace around the world. The 5 day “Mediterranean, Frontier of Peace” meeting of bishops and mayors finished on Sunday with a document illustrating the values and principles to guide the work for the improvement of the countries surrounding the Mediterranean Sea. The participants also called for an end to the war in Ukraine. EWTN Vatican Bureau Chief, Andreas Thonhauser, joins to tell us more about the pope’s health conditions and this meeting where he was expected to be. While Pope Francis cancelled the trip to Florence, he still went to the Russian Embassy to the Holy See last Friday. Thonhauser discusses that visit.
